I will be appearing at Scarlett O’hara’s in Sioux Falls, SD this week.
They have even put my name on their online schedule! This will be an interesting adventure for me. I have never been to South Dakota before so I can now add it to my list of states visited (been to 36, 14 to go.) I was booked through Nakita Kash at Traveling Entertainers, which is a fabulous service for any house entertainer who wants to minimize travel expenses while stripping across the country.

I’ve had an eventful weekend and am heading to Vegas on Tuesday with my friend Monika.
I know, totally lame post after getting fired from Christie’s.
Here’s what happened:
2 Week New Manager: Uh, we decided not to renew certain entertainer’s contracts….and yours was one of them.
Avalon: OK, can you tell me why?
2 Week New manager: Duuuuh….I have no idea… I was just given a list of names.
Avalon: You have no idea? I’ve worked here for six years and the best explanation you can give me is you don’t know?

Boston people are so cool.
The Red Sox were playing the Dbacks this weekend. I was totally expecting the average “Phoenix in June” crowd this weekend. But WOW! Am I glad I was wrong!
Apparently it’s next to impossible to to get tickets to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. So what do all those Boston fans with cash burning in their bank accounts do??
