Bridgette/Jessica Rabbit and I realized that in the 9 years we have been internet SuperStripperFriends, we have never worked together. Ever. We have worked at the same clubs, and in the same cities….but never in the same club in the same city on the same night.
So when she texted me that her flight got in at 9pm from the upper Midwest where she had a booking last week, I immediately told her to high tale it to Treasures to help me entertain The Whale’s group. So she literally got off the plane, Stripperfied herself, clocked in by 11:30, and was just in time! The group really ended up only being two guys….and it was hilarious how the vultures were swarming around them when Jacko escorted them from the front door straight to VIP. The drive to Vegas was hot and sunny. I learned a long time ago that long road trips with the convertible top down REALLY tires me out. The drive took 6 hours this time due to the tourist traffic across Hoover Dam. I hope that bridge is completed soon. Took a quick nap and clocked in at Treasures at 7:30 pm. I paid the offstage fee since I walked in the door with a 5 hour deal already closed.
The Whale was waiting. Read more...(539 words, estimated 2:09 mins reading time)
I spent about four hours this afternoon on conference calls with my design and mastermind team! I’m really excited about relaunching this program and making it BETTER than it has ever been before.
Back in October 2007, I blogged about how spending $300 on Stripper Sales Training was the absolute BEST thing I did for my stripping career. Prior to Dancerwealth I was not a top income earner in my clubs. I was always profitable, I worked hard, but I didn’t have the skill set to be a SuperStripper.
Guess what: skills can be learned, mindsets can be changed.
We only get an edited look at the world around us. That is because our beliefs act as filters, screening out any evidence that doesn’t support what we want to believe is true.
1. As humans, we make life choices that harmonize with our beliefs. We unconsciously choose to put ourselves in situations and associate with people that fit our preconceptions. We avoid people and situations that might weaken or challenge what we believe to be true. Read more...(353 words, 1 image, estimated 1:25 mins reading time)
I devoured my $0.80 copy of Buyers Renters and Freeloaders yesterday as I sat in the sun.
It was well worth the eighty cents. Dr. Harley’s writing style makes it easy to read and his clear-cut philosophies just make perfect sense to me.
Although the book is designed for people who are dating, there is a lot of good info for ‘ole married broads like myself. I have always been fascinated with psychology. I want to discover why I make the choices that I do, especially if it was an out-of-character choice that is inconsistent with my typical values. Moreover, understanding other people’s motives have helped me keep my head (somewhat) straight in this crazy industry. Read more...(888 words, 2 images, estimated 3:33 mins reading time)
Nothing to write home about. As I expected I sat around for a few hours and then hustled my butt off after midnight. I did meet an interesting character who told me that the next time he came in I should wash my hair in rosemary and eat garlic. Whatever floats your boat buddy!
I have several pressing items on my agenda today, so I don’t have time for a long post. Instead, I would like to highlight a post from Kim Kiyosaki’s blog at www.richwoman.com I’m a huge fan of hers and have been gradually shifting from the traditional retirement plan to the RichWoman planning method for the past 3 years. Consensus is: the strip clubs are dead. So if you are thinking about trying a different one in town, don’t bother. The one exception is a little known place under new ownership that specifically marketed to the hip-hop crowd, secured celebrity hosts for the weekend, and word of mouth invited local SuperStrippers they know can close a deal. Smart move! If only I felt comfortable around that demographic… Read more...(177 words, estimated 42 secs reading time)
I added the question mark because….where is everyone? Babe’s was a ghost town last night! Well, other than the extra twenty girls who showed up to work (myself included, I HATE Thursday nights) and the handful that actually flew into town from Vegas to work the event. That alone speaks volumes on the current state of our industry. Read more...(348 words, estimated 1:24 mins reading time)
