Changing at the Speed of Social Media

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

The How to use Twitter to Market Your Stripping Business video I scripted three weeks ago was a bit outdated when I went to record it yesterday. Despite some reports that Twitter’s growth has suddenly stopped, it’s appearance in Time Magazine and my mom’s announcement that she signed up to follow her church’s mission group work solidify my belief that it is here to stay. Nevertheless, I had to change some of the content. I am glad that Twitter is adding verified accounts. I spent a lot of time setting up satellite email addresses so I could claim all of the Twitter Handles that could be associated with StripandGrowRich (DancerWealth, DancerWise, SuperStripper, etc) I don’t plan on using them all, but in the copycat world of online business I don’t want someone to snatch up my brand name and pretend to be me. Just last week, St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa sued Twitter over a bogus account.

Safety in The Strip Club Part 1

I have seen a lot of brand new entertainers in the clubs the past few months.  I have also seen some things that one might think is common sense, but apparently must be said.  The number one reason bad things seem to happen to the same entertainers is because they are not prepared and did not take the steps to actively prevent the situation from happening.

What happens in the Champagne Room?

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Tiana asked a really good question in the comments.  You may have missed it because it was in a post from several weeks ago.  She wants to know how I respond to customers when they ask  “What happens in the VIP room?”

I have several different responses, which one I use depending on the customer’s personality type, the current lapdance turnover rate, and mySuperStripper intuition.  Your own SuperStripper intuition will develop the more you learn how to read personality types, and deal with this type of situation.

My First Night as a Stripper

Flashback:The Beginning was originally posted in August 2007

I was asked the other night, “How on earth, did someone like you: a minister’s daughter, straight as an arrow A+ student…end up dancing.”

Well, it certainly wasn’t something that I planned. Nor was it a career highlighted by my high school guidance counselor. Although in my opinion, it should be.

Simple, I wanted to afford to eat.

Not kidding.

It was October 1999. I had just moved 3300 miles across the country to be with Mr Wrong. Six weeks after arriving in the armpit town of San Bernardino, CA I found out just how WRONG Mr Wrong was for me.
