I returned to my home club in Arizona last night. I LOVE Babe’s Cabaret!
It is the smallest club I have ever worked, and the most friendliest. The theme of the Gentlemen’s Club Expo was Teamwork, which is easier to implement at cozy neighborhood clubs than upscale chains. One remarkable thing about Babe’s is the general respect the entertainers have towards each other’s personal belongings. Even though there are lockers available (which I personally use to lock up my purse, wallet, cell phone, and makeup bag) many of the girls feel comfortable leaving their belongings out. It is not unusually to see several expensive smartphones lined up on the counter top, and designer clothing sticking out of half open bags underneath. During the busy golf and spring training season when the club hires more girls, there is the inevitable sentiment of “It has to be the new girls…because we trust each other.” Nevertheless, this is great way to feel about the majority of your co-workers. “You’re too tall” was my first response of the night. “Not to be rude or anything…but you’re not my type.”
I had two choices, smile and walk on by or try again. There was no one else and Mr Objection was my target client:early 40s wearing a golf shirt, his own 6 foot 2 frame sprawled across two straight backed chairs.
“Well, it all lines up when I straddle you, doesn’t it?” I replied with my best come-back.
It worked he smiled, leaned back opening up his body language and I sat in the empty chair. Read more... (199 words, estimated 48 secs reading time)

We only get an edited look at the world around us. That is because our beliefs act as filters, screening out any evidence that doesn’t support what we want to believe is true.
1. As humans, we make life choices that harmonize with our beliefs. We unconsciously choose to put ourselves in situations and associate with people that fit our preconceptions. We avoid people and situations that might weaken or challenge what we believe to be true. Read more... (353 words, 1 image, estimated 1:25 mins reading time)

I devoured my $0.80 copy of Buyers Renters and Freeloaders yesterday as I sat in the sun.
It was well worth the eighty cents. Dr. Harley’s writing style makes it easy to read and his clear-cut philosophies just make perfect sense to me.
Although the book is designed for people who are dating, there is a lot of good info for ‘ole married broads like myself. I have always been fascinated with psychology. I want to discover why I make the choices that I do, especially if it was an out-of-character choice that is inconsistent with my typical values. Moreover, understanding other people’s motives have helped me keep my head (somewhat) straight in this crazy industry. Read more... (888 words, 2 images, estimated 3:33 mins reading time)

Nothing to write home about. As I expected I sat around for a few hours and then hustled my butt off after midnight. I did meet an interesting character who told me that the next time he came in I should wash my hair in rosemary and eat garlic. Whatever floats your boat buddy!
I have several pressing items on my agenda today, so I don’t have time for a long post. Instead, I would like to highlight a post from Kim Kiyosaki’s blog at www.richwoman.com I’m a huge fan of hers and have been gradually shifting from the traditional retirement plan to the RichWoman planning method for the past 3 years. Consensus is: the strip clubs are dead. So if you are thinking about trying a different one in town, don’t bother. The one exception is a little known place under new ownership that specifically marketed to the hip-hop crowd, secured celebrity hosts for the weekend, and word of mouth invited local SuperStrippers they know can close a deal. Smart move! If only I felt comfortable around that demographic… Read more... (177 words, estimated 42 secs reading time)

I added the question mark because….where is everyone? Babe’s was a ghost town last night! Well, other than the extra twenty girls who showed up to work (myself included, I HATE Thursday nights) and the handful that actually flew into town from Vegas to work the event. That alone speaks volumes on the current state of our industry. Read more... (348 words, estimated 1:24 mins reading time)

Its funny to me when aspects of my two worlds collide.
When I trade the stock market, I sometimes have to sit around all day, watching the screen for my entry signal. It can be boring, but I’ve learned that if I don’t get the proper set-up, I don’t enter the trade. Read more... (866 words, estimated 3:28 mins reading time)

I thoroughly enjoyed the last few days off from stripping. Even though I didn’t work at the club everynight, the drive up to Vegas last Sunday, and the drive home from Vegas last Thursday counted in my head as “work.” Sunday night, I shot a message out to my Dancerwealth.com business partner that just said “I need a day to NOT think about strip clubs.” Good thing too, because I went back into the recording studio yesterday full of energy and insight!
