On July 10, Mars conjuncts Saturn — a significant event that affects us all!

Mars takes about two years to transit through all 12 signs of the zodiac. On July 1, it entered the sign of Virgo and on July 10 it will move within a degree of Saturn, which has been stationed in Virgo since September 2007. This will be the closest Mars-Saturn conjunction until 2022!

Done!

I just emailed my materials to Lia at Starlight for next week’s EDMBA Workshop.  Phew!!!!  I spent the last three days re-vamping the Dancerwealth Course Material for my interactive presentation.  I’m really excited for this!

I think I’ve found my niche.  One of the problems I had with teaching public school was the lack of appreciation.  The kids didn’t care, the parent’s didn’t care, I would work my butt off preparing lesson materials for some kid to waltz in the next day and defiantly say, “My mom said I didn’t have to do my homework because she didn’t understand it neither!”  I will bend over backwards to for someone who truly wants my help.

Missing NY Pastor found in Ohio Strip Club

I feel really sorry for this guy

Missing Pastor found in Strip Club

We hold church officials to higher moral standards, but they are only human too.  Dating must be REALLY hard for them!

Who is the typical strip club patron?  Married, overworked, and overstressed men who’s emotional needs take a backseat to their wives’ problems.  Yeah, real pervs, huh?

Marrying for the Love of money

I’m Back!

I’m back from vacation, but taking a few more days to myself before I head back to Christie’s.  I ate LOTS of really good food.  Whenever I know I don’t have to fit into a g-string with a flat stomach, I have a tendency to eat a dessert or two (or five).  Tomorrow I head back to the gym, Wednesday I head back to Christie’s.

I found this interesting article.  Thought I’d pass it along.

Marrying for love … of money

On a recent episode of “Dirty Sexy Money,” ABC’s soapy drama about the filthy rich, heiress Karen Darling gets married for the fourth time, to a golf pro. Minutes after the ceremony, she decides she wants a divorce, leaving the golfer to wonder about his $3 million guarantee in the pre-nuptial agreement.

Tuesday’s Deep Thoughts ’n Stuff

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

I changed my Status and Mood today from Avalon is working her Ass off til December and Pensive to Avalon is Chillin til the New Year and Pleased.  As I alluded last week, I work a lot during the busy season.  December is not the busiest time of year for strippers.  People have Holiday Parties on the weekends, and gifts to buy for family.  Hence, visiting their favorite stripper is not at the top of the list for the general male population.  So I use the month of December to reflect on my year, note my accomplishments and develop my goals for next year.  I am pleased because despite the weakened economy, I have already grossed 7% more than 2006 (Thank you Naked Assets!) and I still have a month to go.  I’ll pop into Christie’s a few times this month, but for the most part, December is Avalon’s down time.

Philosophy, Lust, and Religion

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

Early last night it was slow.  So slow that I took the time to sit down and philosophize with a customer, fully aware that it wasn’t going to result in a sale.

“Oh honey, you’re a looker, but I can’t get a dance.”  Jeb said matter of factly.  Jeb was in town from Houston.  “I’m just here to enjoy the scenery, but I could never disrespect my wife by getting a lapdance.”  He said handing me a dollar.
