Overcoming objections
Monday, April 13th, 2009“You’re too tall” was my first response of the night. “Not to be rude or anything…but you’re not my type.”
I had two choices, smile and walk on by or try again. There was no one else and Mr Objection was my target client:early 40s wearing a golf shirt, his own 6 foot 2 frame sprawled across two straight backed chairs.
“Well, it all lines up when I straddle you, doesn’t it?” I replied with my best come-back.
It worked he smiled, leaned back opening up his body language and I sat in the empty chair.

SuperStripperFriends
Tuesday, March 24th, 2009Bridgette/Jessica Rabbit and I realized that in the 9 years we have been internet SuperStripperFriends, we have never worked together. Ever. We have worked at the same clubs, and in the same cities….but never in the same club in the same city on the same night.
So when she texted me that her flight got in at 9pm from the upper Midwest where she had a booking last week, I immediately told her to high tale it to Treasures to help me entertain The Whale’s group. So she literally got off the plane, Stripperfied herself, clocked in by 11:30, and was just in time! The group really ended up only being two guys….and it was hilarious how the vultures were swarming around them when Jacko escorted them from the front door straight to VIP.

Weird Weather and March Madness
Sunday, March 22nd, 2009The drive to Vegas was hot and sunny. I learned a long time ago that long road trips with the convertible top down REALLY tires me out. The drive took 6 hours this time due to the tourist traffic across Hoover Dam. I hope that bridge is completed soon. Took a quick nap and clocked in at Treasures at 7:30 pm. I paid the offstage fee since I walked in the door with a 5 hour deal already closed.
The Whale was waiting.

All Star Saturday Night/ Valentines Day
Sunday, February 15th, 2009Nothing to write home about. As I expected I sat around for a few hours and then hustled my butt off after midnight. I did meet an interesting character who told me that the next time he came in I should wash my hair in rosemary and eat garlic. Whatever floats your boat buddy!
I have several pressing items on my agenda today, so I don’t have time for a long post. Instead, I would like to highlight a post from Kim Kiyosaki’s blog at www.richwoman.com I’m a huge fan of hers and have been gradually shifting from the traditional retirement plan to the RichWoman planning method for the past 3 years.

NBA All Star Week Day 1?

Well, other than the extra twenty girls who showed up to work (myself included, I HATE Thursday nights) and the handful that actually flew into town from Vegas to work the event. That alone speaks volumes on the current state of our industry.

To Insure Proper Service
Saturday, February 7th, 2009Friday night was a potpourri of previous customers.
I didn’t remember the first group of guys from San Francisco. I looked back in my book, and the week they were here was crazy busy. I tend to remember people better when I spend time with them in VIP and/or they buy several rounds of dances on the floor. But they remembered me…
“You probably don’t remember me,” Jake started “but you were my favorite when we were here in November.” That statement automatically qualified Jake as a buyer. I didn’t have to spend much time building rapport…because I already had it!

My Reflections
Friday, February 6th, 2009One of the reasons that I stress every SuperStripper should pick one home club and stick with it, is to avoid the stress of wondering “Where should I work tonight?” or “I hope I don’t pick the wrong club tonight!”
About 5 years ago I worked at both Skin in Scottdale and Christie’s in Phoenix. Every night, as I was driving up the 101, I would have to make a choice….do I stay on the 101 and go
to Skin…or do I get on the 202 and go to Christie’s? It took a near accident one night as I changed lanes last minute to convince me that I needed to just pick one club, build up my social capital, and cultivate a base clientele.

DancerWealth!
Tuesday, March 17th, 2009I spent about four hours this afternoon on conference calls with my design and mastermind team! I’m really excited about relaunching this program and making it BETTER than it has ever been before.
Back in October 2007, I blogged about how spending $300 on Stripper Sales Training was the absolute BEST thing I did for my stripping career. Prior to Dancerwealth I was not a top income earner in my clubs. I was always profitable, I worked hard, but I didn’t have the skill set to be a SuperStripper.
Guess what: skills can be learned, mindsets can be changed.
