I went home to CCP last night.  It was a bittersweet reunion of my friendly co-workers and empty chairs.  Whenever the Dbacks are out of town it is usually pretty slow.  Their June home schedule isn’t very enticing either.

I did run into Winslow, my Native American friend from Winslow, Arizona.  We met in March during the Wildhorse Ranch Rescue Benefit.  I remembered him because I’ve stood on “the corner” in Winslow, Arizona and had my picture taken with the Don Henley statue.

Avalon: I remember you!  We met a two months ago.
Winslow: We did?  OK.  Do you know if Angela is working?
Avalon: Angela?
Winslow: Yeah, Angela.  She looks a lot like you.  Tall, big boobs, but she has really long blonde hair down her back.
Avalon: Do you mean Autumn?
Winslow: No Angela.  I think she’s from Texas.
Avalon: Angela from Texas…..ummmm…
Winslow: She wears a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader outfit
Avalon: Oh, that Angela….no, she’s not here tonite.  Guess you’ll have to settle for me!
Winslow: OK!

Can guys REALLY not recognize a girl when she wears her hair UP instead of DOWN?  Maybe I should put my hair extensions back in if that’s all guys remember about me….
