Attitude outranks Facts

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

I got a genuine compliment from my first customer of the evening tonight, “You’re the coolest chick I’ve come across in the past five years….and I’m not just saying that because you’re straddling me half naked.”

Having a positive self-image is imperative to finding success in this industry.  Your self-image is the subconscious mechanism responsible for guiding your behavior.  We always act consistently with the image we have of ourselves.  If you see yourself as a second or third tier dancer who most guys don’t want a dance from…then by golly you aren’t going to sell many dances.

Your Personal Mission Statement

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Even SuperStrippers have average nights when they don’t line up a previous customer and the foot traffic through the door is slow.   One thing that I have been criticized for is glamorizing the Strip Club Industry.  No, not every fresh faced 19 year old girl who sets foot in the gentlemen’s club is going to make it.  Most of them won’t because they lack the proactive mindset to make things happen for themselves.

While I wait for my tech guys in Dallas to muster up a bit of integrity to follow through with what they say they are going to do, I have delved into creating DancerWise….the next step after DancerWealth.

Integrity, Accountability, and my First 5 Figure Day

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009

Going backwards, I’m stoked: I had my first 5 figure day in the stock market today.  My biggest winners were the naked calls I sold on FAZ and SKF.

On FAZ I did an experiment, I bought two March 60 puts on Friday for $360 a piece.  I sold them both today for $1100 each.

Not too shabby.

However, the naked call I sold had a much better return.  I sold the naked call on Friday for $5280.  I could currently buy it back for $1200 for a $4080 profit, but since I have Theta and Vega working in my favor as an option seller, I’m just going to set a stop loss to lock in most of my profit and let it ride.

Be the Victor

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009

One of the foundations of DancerWealth and StripandGrowRich is to empower women who work in strip clubs to be Victors, not Victims of this industry. My business partner Adam wrote about this over a year ago, and it was such a fantastic article that I used it as a blogpost myself.

As entertainers, we have much more investible time than the average employee who punches in 40+ hours a week. I use the word investible rather than “free time” to describe the hours that we are not actively working in the club. We all have 24 hours in a day. No one gets 25 hours in the day, “free” time. I certainly don’t.

Starting My SuperStripper Week

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

Monday: two 90 minute workouts
Tuesday: One 90 minute workout, Four hours lifting my base color back to the pale golden blonde shade I sported circa 2004-2006. No more “dirty blonde!!”
Wednesday-Saturday: Rockin’ the Spring Training Crowd at Babe’s Cabaret in Scottsdale!

I’m a bit weary from trading. I never would have thought sitting on my @$$ watching price bars form on my computer screen could be so exhausting. I am extremely grateful that I was given the opportunity to learn how to trade the stock market in 2006. It was that or invest in a rental property…yeah, we made the right choice.

Find YOUR Genius

51aLHlrV9yL. SL210 Find YOUR Genius
I really like this Book: Success is not an Accident It was written by a Red Personality (goal and outcome oriented) which is much of the reason why it resonates so deeply with me. As a Red, I am very Machiavellian…focusing on results with little regard to the process of how I get there. I’m not going to debate whether that is right or wrong, my Blue (process oriented, fun-loving) partner is always telling me that we can do stuff just for the heck of doing it because it’s fun. Nevertheless, the part I’m going to focus on today is finding your Genius.

What is YOUR Excuse

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

The slogan of The Para-lypmpics says it all. “What’s your excuse?”

If there is anything in your life that is not the way you want it to be, you and only you are responsible for changing it. It is up to YOU to create the solutions to your life, whether they are big or small. Each time you give an excuse, you dimish your respect, dignity, and integrity…and re-inforce the habit of making excuses in the future.

Effectively, making excuses is just an attempt to rationalize your lack of results.

Success is NOT a Accident

Friday, January 30th, 2009

I was waiting for my prescription at Walgreens yesterday, and they conveniently relocated the book section to the pharmacy area. So I browsed the selections, and this book caught my eye:

So I sat down, checked out the table of contents and was intrigued by this passage:

Another key in striving for success is to get over expecting life to be fair. A level playing field is a self-indulgent and unproductive fantasy. In this world, it will never happen, nor should it: Insisting on a level playing field disrupts your attention and distracts you from your ultimate objective.

New Year’s Exercise

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

I did this little exercise two weeks ago at Leadership Acceleration Training.

Make Two Lists

What I truly Want in Life What I Have

Are the things on your list different?

Now, this may sting for some of you….but YOU HAVE EXACTLY WHAT YOU DESERVE.

Whether you want to attribute this to God, Jehovah, L. Ron Hubbard, The Secret, or whatever higher power…you get back what you put out there.

If you want something different in life, you need to do different things, hang out with different people, try something else.

Repeating the same action over and over again, yet expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.

2009: The Year of the Warrior

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

One of the motivational speakers from Acceleration Training this past weekend said something along the same lines as The Secret:

You have EXACTLY what you deserve in your life right now.

Therefore, if you don’t like what you’ve got, or you want more, YOU need to change something. Do something different, hang out with different people, break your bad habits! 2009 is the year of the warrior. Are you going to step up and make things happen, or are you going to quiver in fear?
