After you Become a Stripper: Handling Your Alcohol

drinking 300x150 After you Become a Stripper: Handling Your Alcohol

By Shayla Savannah

Strippers and alcohol seem to go hand-in-hand many times, like peanut butter and jelly. Many strip clubs serve alcohol, and actually that is one of the main attractions for many strip club customers: naked, or semi-naked exotic dancers and alcohol. The customers will buy themselves a drink, and then later will ask one of the dancers if they, too, would like a drink.

Strippers as Actresses?

By Shayla Savannah

In my last post, I talked about how changing your name can change your personality. Why would you need to do this? Aren’t you good enough as you are?

Well, sometimes. I know that whenever a yellow walks in the door, I can hustle him as myself, no Shayla needed. In this case, acting isn’t needed. I am a Yellow on the inside, our cores connect without needed help.

Stripper Business Lesson: To S Corp or not to S Corp…?

I really want to preface this post by saying I am not a financial analyst, stock broker, or accountant. I am, however, experienced in the areas I am talking about here. I am writing from the view of my own experiences. If you need financial advice, do your research right and also go see a financial specialist.

Back to the post now…

If you are new to stripping, you may be unaware that YOU ARE A BUSINESS NOW! Yes, you as an individual are starting your own business: the business of moi.

What’s Your Stripper Name

by Shayla Savannah

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet” -William Shakespeare

What do those lines, spoken by Juliet, have to do with stripping nowadays? Well, look at the lines; what do they mean?

I’ll tell you: they say what matters is what something IS, not what it is called. And normally, I would completely agree with these lines. But…not when it comes to stripping and acting.

Stripping The Tip Rail Conundrum

The other night, as I was walking into my club to work my shift,I saw three customers. One was at the bar, hanging out with the waitresses-a patron of the club, not the dancers. Another guy was sitting on the floor, but a girl was chatting him up. The last customer is the tip rail.

Have you ever been stuck in a scenario like this one? I see this more often than I would like, normally at the beginning of my shift.

Do you immediately deflate and start getting caught into a negative feedback loop, or do you size up the 3 guys and start your plan of attack?

What is your Personal Mission Statement?

By Shayla Savannah

After going to SuperStripper Bootcamp, I had a lot of self-reflection going on. I was thinking about what I want to do with my life, how to go about it, and whether or not I wanted to stay in the business. I ultimately decided it is better to strip while I was still looking good and had the energy to do so.

After I returned home from the week long Bootcamp, I discovered I was lacking  the drive to get back into my club and actually use all that I had learned at SuperStripper Bootcamp.

I’ve been in this business for 2 years, what could you possibly teach me? (I know all the secrets)

Hello out there to all the readers of Strip and Grow Rich! You probably don’t know me, but from here on out you can call me Shayla Savannah. Ill be writing some of the blogs now, along with Avalon, and I hope you find me as entertaining and informative as her.

A little bit about myself, so you don’t start thinking, “who the hell is she to tell me about stripping and hustling?” Well, I have been stripping for the past 5 years or so (time gets fuzzy sometimes when you have been in this business a while) while getting a degree from University and working on a Masters and just working outside the adult entertainment sector educating young people as a teacher. By far, my favorite out of all those was, and still is, working as a stripper.
