StripandGrowRich isn’t into politics..at all, Our goal here at SGR has always been to enrich and enhance the lives of dancers, with the only proven dancer development system in the world. We have been around since 2003 doing live seminars from Vegas, building sales, finance, and life development systems for exotic dancers.

We felt compelled to share this story because The Lodge is one of our favorite clubs and one of the few who are getting it RIGHT in this industry!! We love how they are tongue in cheek-style sticking it to the politician’s bumbling fundraising staff while simultateously getting FREE advertising!!

Go Lodge and go Mike Precker!!

Newt Gingrich tries to shakedown the Lodge again (video from MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow show)

By ED BARK
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich really should consider updating the mailing list for his conservative American Solutions organization.

To the delight of The Lodge, which modestly bills itself as “America’s best-known and most-honored gentlemen’s club,” Gingrich again is asking owner Dawn Rizos for money.

This didn’t go so well the first time around. As documented on this website, National Public Radio, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show and numerous other news outlets, American Solutions last year offered to name Rizos one of its Entrepreneurs of the Year in return for a $5,000 donation. She was supposed to receive the honor during a private dinner in Washington, D.C.

Rizos sent the money, but belatedly was spurned by Gingrich after his people discovered that the Dallas-based Lodge specializes in picturesque, scantily-clad women. The Lodge instead used the returned check to open Newt’s Nook, a recovery center for sick and injured dogs. They weren’t the only ones to howl, with Maddow in particular having a field day and interviewing both Rizos and “writer in residence” Michael Precker on her show.

American Solutions now is asking Rizos for a suggested $1,000 donation — “or even as much as $2,000″ — to become a card-carrying member of the organization. A copy of her 2011 membership card, affixed with both Gingrich’s and Rizos’ name, is attached to the two-page come-on.

“After the resounding rejection of Barack Obama’s leftist ideology and governing policies on November 2nd, we stand on the verge of an exciting new era,” the solicitation letter says. “Thanks to members like you, American Solutions played a critical role in helping create this year’s sea-change election.”

Rizos in fact has never been a member of American Solutions, and is passing on a chance to be one until the two parties “can discuss what happened last year.” However, in the spirit of the holiday season, she has sent Gingrich a lifetime VIP membership card to The Lodge. The club says its value is $2,000 and includes among other things:

***Access to The Loft, our intimate members-only lounge with your personal concierge, and to the Wine Cellar.

***Complimentary admission at all times for you and your guests.

***A free steak-and-lobster lunch every Thursday, with the purchase of any two beverages.

***Invitations to our remarkable theme parties, which include feature entertainers, an elaborate gourmet buffet, and $2 drinks.

Rizos says The Lodge is expecting “huge crowds” during Super Bowl XLV week, but “I guarantee we will save a table for Newt.”

Meanwhile, the conservative mover and shaker continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. And The Lodge again is overjoyed to again be on the receiving end of Gingrich’s latest shakedown.

StripAndGrowRich.com does NOT encourage or support underage Strippers. This is a job for mature ladies who can handle the emotions that will undoubtedly arise on the floor.

How in the world does this happen? This makes a good case for clubs to do a better job verifying dancers’ credentials. There are major dollars and legal issues at stake here.

Club owners and managers: Trust but VERIFY. There’s something in the food that makes 14 year-olds LOOK mature, but they just have the body, not the mind.

This is just another one of the reasons it’s time for clubs to start training the entertainers. We also teach health code information as well as legal issues.

If you’re a club owner or manager, be watching www.stripandgrowrich.com for the next couple of weeks for more valuable information we can help you teach your staff.

If you’re a dancer or a patron…what do you think about this situation that happened in Detroit?? (and Dallas a few months ago, apparently)

When we first launched StripAndGrowRich.com, we thought dancers might take our servers down with all the traffic we would generate.

It’s easy to see why girls who already do the exotic dancer job would want to know how to make more money out of every shift, isn’t it?

I mean, you’re already going to spend anywhere from 4 to 12 hours in the club…why the hell wouldn’t you want to make the most money every hour that’s possible??

Come to find out, dancers generally prize anonymity over money. Through our research and interviews both live and over the net, we have determined this job is more than undercover, it’s downright SECRET!

Our approach to the business has always been more of a “own it” and capitalize on the industry using smarts and techniques borrowed from human science and sales. That’s great for ladies that want to make a career out of stripping, but what about the single moms and students who just want to make a higher than average income while they have serious financial needs?

Those are your undercover strippers. They don’t buy Gucci, they don’t drive a Mercedes, and they sure as hell don’t need stripper school, right?

Wrong! It’s important to remember that the girls with the skills are the ones who bank. Even the prettiest girl in the best shape of her life can’t beat the average dancer in average shape if she knows how to sell and provide incredible customer service.

StripAndGrowRich.com is more than a Stripper School, it’s a resource center for dancers. We provide not only the skills you need, but the reference resources, the braintrust of like-minded dancers, and the support of a caring team of experienced coaches! There isn’t another resource like this on the web. Where else can a dancer get financial advice that is tailored to this job as well as an awesome self development course SPECIFICALLY for dancers??

Best of all, we allow the undercover stripper to keep her secret. For less than the cost of one table dance a MONTH, SGR keeps exotic dancers in the know about what works, what doesn’t, and how to bring home more money every time they climb up on those 6 inch heels. Our community stands ready to answer any burning questions & problems or just help each other stay up and positive. This job can be hard and sometimes thankless, but we help keep it upbeat and moving in the right direction for you. Sometimes all you need is an inspiration or a story from someone else who is making it happen.

So keep your secret…we want you to! Here’s the best way to do that… Set up a hotmail or gmail account with your stage name, go SIGN UP for DancerWealth, and get ready to earn more money than you ever thought you could. Why? Because when you know how to make more money every time you work, you can choose to work fewer shifts and spend that time with your family or studying… or with your friends.

What do you have to lose? Investing in yourself, no matter how long you are in this industry is always a winning move. You’re worth it! The sales, finance, and life skills you will learn will serve you in ANY job and in your whole life. See you on the inside…

IMO, it should be both generously AND frequently.

Taking the focus off dancers for a brief moment, if you want to improve your club experience I think it’s vitally important to tip the wait staff generously. Not only will they serve you faster and be more attentive to your needs, they will be much friendlier and project a positive vibe which is especially beneficial when a dancer joins you at your table. A dancer can obtain some hints about what kind of customer you could potentially be from the interaction between you and the waitress. If you’ve established a level of comfort with your waitress that allows her to laugh and joke with you, odds are you are a pretty good customer to her. In effect, you’ve been pre-screened by the waitress. If you tip the waitress generously, odds are you’ll be generous to the dancer. If the waitress asks if you’d like to buy the dancer a drink and you readily accept or if you take the initiative and offer to buy a drink for the dancer on your own, odds are you’ll be willing to spend more money on the dancer. I strongly believe it’s important for customers to have ATF waitresses and to do their best to ensure they sit in their sections to reap the benefits.

If you’re sitting close to the stage, stage tipping should be a must by rule. You’re receiving entertainment value from the stage show so it’s only fair the dancer performing receives compensation for it. When stage tipping, tips should be offered freely and without strings. There’s no need to make a dancer “work for it” as she’s already on stage working for you.

Buy dances! If you’ve allowed a dancer to sit with you for a while, you’d better be prepared to at least tip for her time if you’re not going to buy dances. When it comes to buying dances, I have a self imposed rule of a two dance minimum per dancer. I believe single dance buyers are viewed as an annoyance by most dancers and so it’s extremely rare that I’ll stop after one dance. When I have, it’s only because she’s caused me some sort of unbearable extreme discomfort. Of course some guys may think I’m crazy for spending any additional money on a dance I’m not really into but I believe it still positively contributes to my club experience. Firstly, girls talk and I don’t want to be identified as a one-and-done customer who then gets passed over by other dancers who’s company I would have otherwise enjoyed. Or even if they don’t talk, dancers are pretty observant and can see your spending habits. On the other hand, if you make frequent trips to the private dance area for extended periods of time, dancers will see that too and generally are more enthusiastic when approaching. I go into the club expecting to spend money anyway and burning the cost of a dance two or three times over the course of a night is something I’m prepared to do. I have a lot more fun when I don’t have to constantly worry about stretching my dollars.

Leave the club when you’ve exhausted your strip club budget. It goes back to the first point I made about not wasting the dancers’ time and prevents you from being labeled a time waster.

Always tip for dances as generously as one can afford. And when it comes to buying a block of dances (or time) where I’m getting a volume discount on dances, my personal rule is to always pay the equivalent of full price dances as a bare minimum. For example, if I’m getting a two-for-one dance, I’ll pay her for the two dances. Or if I’m paying $300 for an hour (when single dances are $20/ea for approx 3 mins each), I’d give her $500 ($400 worth of full price dances plus an extra $100 tip which works out to only 20% if you think about it in those terms).

I will never negotiate the price of a dance. I will never ask a dancer for change. I will never get so many dances from a girl that I can no longer afford to provide a good tip. I will never negotiate for contact. I will never request extras. I will never tell a dancer how to do her job. I will never request OTC. I will never ask for personal details. I will never offer backhanded compliments. I will never say anything bad about another dancer to her. I will never complain to her about her dances. I will never complain about the club or staff to her. I will never play mind games. I will never eat stage side (I’ve never understood this behavior as I think it’s plain rude). I will never monopolize a dancer’s time without spending money.

I will be open to her approach. I will be comfortable with her comfort level. If all she’s comfortable offering is an airdance, I will be content with that. I will let her take the lead. I will be as honest and modest as possible. I will respect her boundaries. I will try to keep the mood light and positive. I will pay attention to her as she speaks. I will always be polite. I will always thank her for her time.

I will take a shower and wash my hair before going to the club. I will wear clothes that are freshly washed. Unless I’ve intentionally grown out facial hair, I will ensure I’m clean shaven. I will brush my teeth prior to going to the club and will carry some sort of breath freshening aids with me (e.g., mints, gum, breath strips, etc.). I will avoid food and beverages the day of a strip club visit that would contribute to bad breath (e.g., garlic, beer, etc.). With regards to cologne, I choose not to wear any and find it unnecessary particularly after just showering.

Where lap dance clubs are concerned, I’ll avoid wearing belts and button down shirts or shirts with zippers. While they may look good, I find the buttons/zippers can catch on a dancers clothes and are a source of discomfort for many dancers. On the other hand, I’ve received many compliments/thanks for wearing soft and smooth clothes. Other positive reinforcement I’ve received is compliments for smooth, soft skin (face, neck, arms, hands). Sorry to get all metro but moisturizing will always be appreciated. I also ensure my nails are maintained. Oh, and lip balm is a good idea too (no, not for kissing) as the sight of chapped lips is unsightly. Basically, just look presentable and ensure you’re not the source of any unpleasant odors (which includes overpowering cologne).

Ladies: What do you think?? Would this be your ideal client?

Gentlemen: Can we do this? Is this realistic and doable?

Today’s context for feet is this: is it appropriate for a man to wear FLIP FLOPS into a strip club? Not only do we not want to see them, but those piggies could get CRUSHED by the aforementioned dancer stilettos. (Maybe that would teach them) Most men don’t take good enough care of their feet to be showing them in a club, but especially not in the daylight!!

I had the displeasure of flying within earshot and (more unfortunately, eyeshot of their feet!) On an airplane! EWwwwww. It was bad enough having to watch nearly grown men giggling about every little thing and annoying everyone around them for almost 3 hours straight…but the feet, my GOD the feet!!! Nothing says ” I’m single” like flip flops and poor foot care. It also says “I’ll be STAYING single!”

Avalon asked me to post on here today so here goes…

I recently got out of a very intense but short relationship- 9.5 weeks- pun intended.

Yes, she’s a dancer, and no, I’m not telling where or any identifying details. If you take anything away from any relationship, you MUST take the LESSON you were supposed to learn, or you’re doomed to repeat it. I call it “Relationship Groundhog Day”- you know, like the movie with Bill Murray?

While our passion and connection were never in question, I kept thinking in the back of my mind that there were ever-increasing long term incompatibilities racking up. I appreciated the fact that she was so open and honest with me about her faults. You have to be if it’s going to work, right?

So the lesson I learned was to be more open and honest about my doubts and issue areas earlier on. If I had let my concerns be known earlier, the DRAMA that ensued would not have been so bad. I also learned that my lower floor for age difference was there for a reason and I violated it for the last time (sounds good on paper anyway).

So what was the drama? All was quiet for about 3 weeks, then let’s make this potentially long story a short one by saying out of the blue I got a very unflattering, immature Facebook posting that I caught within 30 seconds of it going onto my profile. Phew, right??

WRONG! Because several people posted responses to it, (my posting about Facebook’s incessant ads for singles) they all got a copy of this scathing email in their inboxes!! Not once, but twice before said ex-girlfriend-turned-scorned psycho posted it again before I could delete her out of my friends! So my mom, my sister, and my aunt, among others- got to read all of the drama. Now I have to do triage with all of them. Thanks, Facebook, and thanks drama queen.

Dancers are regular people before they are dancers, and we all have feelings. I just need to do a better job of stating my concerns earlier and defusing drama. True, with some people it doesn’t matter what you do because they thrive on the dramatic, but I saw it coming! Fool me once…I learned my lesson!

Tell me about your drama in the comment area below…

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed.
Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous
flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building
nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.
Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the
table…everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And
others birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the feeder and squawked
and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it
when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn’t even sit on my own back
porch anymore. I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were
gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built
all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be…quiet,
serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now lets see…our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free
medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic
citizen. Then the illegal’s came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor: your child’s 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn’t speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press “one” to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than “Old Glory” are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.

Maybe it’s time for the government to take down the bird feeder.
