Is there a such thing as innate talent?  Are SuperStrippers just lucky enough to be born with beauty, brain, and wit to capture a man’s attention for hours on end in the VIP room?

Although there have not been any studies done on SuperStrippers, there have been studies on amateur vs professional musicians.  In his book Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell explores a scientific study of professional musicians.  In this study he concluded that there weren’t any “naturals” who floated effortlessly to the top.  Nor could they find any “grinds” who worked harder than everyone else , but just  didn’t have what it took to be successful.  Success was a combination of talent and practice…but how much practice?  Read more... In the current recession, there are hundreds of women who have turned to stripping to make ends meet for their families.  Despite the decrease in overall strip club attendance and spending, their new career wages are comparable to some very esteemed professions.

I get asked all the time, “How much money do strippers make?”  Well, it varies from a good night to a bad night, but suppose a stripper only averages $200/shift and she works 4x a week.  That is $800/week or $40k per year.  If she works 5x a week that is $1000/week or $50k per year.  When I first posted this article in the fall of 2007, most of the strippers I knew were averaging $500/shift, working 4 shifts a week, which translated to a 6 figure business.  Read more... Strip Clubs Per Capita

As we settle into our new home base of operations in Dallas, TX we are abuzz with LOTS of exciting ideas for 2010.

We kicked off 2010 with 3 months of SuperStripper Bootcamp in sunny Arizona. Bootcamp was born out of a concept we had in September 2009.  Looking back, I’m dually shocked and proud we were able to pull it all together in such a short amount of time.  More importantly, the friendship, feedback, and testimonials from our Bootcampers have inspired more ideas.  Read more... Phew!  after TWO back to back SuperStripper Bootcamps, I finally have a chance to sit down and get all you devoted blog readers up to date!

As one Bootcamper told me, reading the SGR blog is part of her wake up routine…and when we don’t post she wonders “What’s going on???”

So what IS going on with Strip and Grow Rich?

For starters, we successfully completed four SuperStripper Bootcamps!  Time flies when you are having fun, and fun was certainly had!  We hiked Camelback Mountain, did some sightseeing, checked out Phoenix/Scottsdale stripclubs, restaurants, and other nightlife.  We learned about ourselves and how to deal with our limitations.  We broke through some of our self-imposed barriers and set goals for the future.

As for Avalon, I am packing up the SuperStripper Mansion.  Next Stop: DALLAS, TX!!!

The third class of SuperStripper Bootcamp participants arrived yesterday.  We broke the ice by attending Babe’s Cabaret’s Hip Hop Night.  Isis flew in from Toronto and is excited to work the main stage pole this week.  She is a very talented stage performer.  Lindsay possesses the gift of gab.  While filling out paperwork, she chatted up the customer sitting next to her, and has a VIP already lined up for her first night.

I’m so proud.

There is limited space still available in the April Bootcamp.  Like the Cadbury eggs…once Easter’s gone….so is the Arizona SuperStripper Bootcamp.
