The other day night I was at work and noticed a coworker who was feeling down. She was getting bummed just because the club was slow (at 7pm) and her negativity was starting to affect those around her. Negativity is contagious, so I wanted to stop it in it’s tracks. I instantly started talking about how to get into the SuperStripper Zone. The more we talked, the more she shifted from being negative to being positive.

Positive Affirmations: This sounds hokey, but trust me…it works! During SuperStripper Bootcamp we started our day by jogging around the neighborhood saying “I LOVE My Life!” Affirmations are great because they give your mind something to act on. What you focus on you get more of…so by focusing on how much I love my life…I love it more and more everyday!
Some other positive affirmations you may have heard are: Every day in Every Way I’m Getting Stronger and Stronger! Or like Christina Aguilara sings, “I am beautiful, in every single way”
Positive “self talk” Self-talk is what you say to yourself in your head. It’s amazing how much we listen to our inner voice without even realizing it. You can control this conversation, by asking yourself better questions. For example:
- Why do I always do that? -> Does this get me closer to my goal?
- Why do I always have a loser for a boyfriend?-> How can I be more selective in the future?
