How to Become a Successful Stripper- InterCultural Communication

Have you ever had a customer from another country?  Ever feel like selling to a foreign male customer  is different than selling to an American male customer?

Each of us has our own distinct personality type (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow in the DancerWealth System) but overlaid on top of that are the tendencies, assumptions, and reflexes handed down to us by the history of the community we grew up in.  In Outliers, it is referred to as Power Distance Index, and it describes how much a particular culture values and respects authority (and in the strip club it is useful to know this to decide whether or not you should use The Authority Hot Button.)

If a customer is  from a culture that has a high PDI, he is  not likely able to tolerate ambiguity during a discussion.  In Dancerwealth we would call them Greens and give you the tools to sell to them most effectively.  Greece, Portugal, Guatemala, Uraguay, and Belgium top the list of cultures that communicate in order  to avoid uncertainty.

On the other hand, if  he comes a from a culture that has a low PDI, he is  more likely to speak indirectly and not ask for specific details.  The cultures best able to tolerate ambiguity (which most strippers bank upon) are Hong Kong, Sweden, Denmark, Jamaica, and Singapore.

Knowing how to modify your method of communication with foreign customers is just one of the tools that will help you make more money every night.
