The Stripper Weighs in Again:
There were some great comments about last weeks “The Stripper” episode via Facebook and Twitter.
Although I LIKE that they are portraying Robin as a kind-hearted individual that all of the ladies on Wisteria Lane can learn from, they are still perpetuating the dumb blonde lipstick lesbian stereotype. The funniest part of the show for me was when Susan screached, “It’s not like she’s going to med school between lapdances!” because I WAS actually watching the show with one of my SuperStripper Bootcampers who IS paying for medical school by stripping part time.

Funny when I began dancing I was actually paying for nursing school and am now working on my psychology degree. See there really are clear heels in biology. I am bi-sexual and do date women but I do agree that Hollywood often is clueless about our profession and will go mostly by steriotypes, this is one of the first shows that has EVER actually made us look slightly more like real women at all.
