Blonde Haired Chinese Baby

After several weeks of referrals, introductions, and arm twisting (not really) I successfully re-assembled The Dream Team of Cozmo, the hardest working floorman I ever had the pleasure of working with, Matt Damon, and several other former Christie’s Cabaret support staff members…and I was reminded last week of just how creative these guys are…

If you recall from older posts on the myspace blog, Cozmo and Matt Damon named not only every section of the club, but every individual table had it’s own name.  It became a code I learned to decipher.  For example, if a customer sitting at the third table on the left in the front right section, requested a blonde with big boobs…that request could be expedited simply by saying, “Avalon to Robin” (see, much faster to communicate)  Let me explain, at Christie’s on 32nd St the front section was dubbed The Cave. Hence, every table in that section had a name corresponding to a Cave: Batman, Robin, Spelunker, etc.  Another section was called The Point.  My favorite table at Christie’s,  Blonde Haired Chinese Baby, is unfortunately no longer exists.  It was replaced by the Foxy Boxing Ring that is now is permanently set up in The Pitt.

I completely forgot about this code until I saw Cozmo walking around the floor, hastily scribbling notes in the early hours of a shift last week.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

He pulls out three professionally printed CAD drawings of the floorplan of Christie’s 32nd St, Skin, and Men’s Club Dallas.  Each club had the sections clearly labeled with an overarching theme.  Each table was named according to that theme.

“I’m working on Babe’s now,” he said. “So far we have The Four Kings (Elvis, Martin Luther, Kong, and [of course]Cash)”

One of the things we teach in DancerWealth is to maintain social capital with your support staff.  Cozmo and Matt Damon have introduced me to many customers who became regulars.  Good Gentlemen’s Club Staff members are HARD to find, be sure to take care of those who make your job easier.
