Handling your Emotions at the Strip Club

The video series I am currently working on for DancerWealth is about handling your emotions while at the strip club.  I have talked in the past about getting into your SuperStripper Zone before you ever set foot inside the club.  However, there are times (that seem to becoming more and more frequent) that no matter how AWESOME your SuperStripper Zone is when you show up to work: something happens over the course of the night that pulls you out of it.

Maybe you show up to work and the club is dead, or maybe some pudgy middle-aged guy says, “You’re not my type.”  Whatever it is, it evokes a  negative emotions inside of you that can potentially throw you off for the entire night. The range of emotions from situations like this can range from mild discomfort to sobbing hurt!   I spent some time talking to one tearful girl in the lockerroom after her lap dance sales strategy was rejected repeatedly for several hours.

In the Maintaining the Zone Series we discuss the three step method to controlling your emotions.

In this business, if you can’t control your emotions, you can’t control your money!

  1. Seriously. Where WAS this blog post when I was working? My problem through-out my strip club “career” was that I was either hot or cold.. heaps of people would pick up on it.. “there is no middle ground for you is there Sandi?” Granted, even now, as a web cam girl this applies to me.

  2. Its never too late!

This applies to LIFE in general too ;)
