I thought she did a great job. I (personally) don’t put a big emphasis on make-up. Guys don’t care if your eyeshadow matches your dress, they just care if you are attractive. Thus, since I know how to do my own makeup I prefer to do my own, so I’m ready to go when I walk in the door rather than wasting time primping in the dressing room. I’m sure Im a minority with that sentiment though….I know A LOT of dancers who like that time in the makeup chair to morph into their Stripper Persona.

Wow, that sounds VERY nice! Just curious, did you like the makeup artists work? Or would you have preferred to do it yourself? What kind of makeup was used on the dancers? Sorry about all the questions, I’m just very curious being one myself!

I’m with Sonya – what’s the take home dollars like compared to “home” ?

As for the digital bra/gstring photo. Yup, I’ve been ‘exposed’ to that procedure here in Australia down in Melbourne at one club. Why? They will usually put it against your ‘application’ so when you ring up months down the track (if you are a traveling dancer and don’t work frequently enough there) they can look at your photo and “remember” you!

BTW, why didn’t they do Polaroids? I would only trust Polaroids in that procedure. Too much can happen with digital photos.

And if you have not worked there in such a long time that the Polaroid has faded then they need to discard your application to be frank and just ‘start again’ with you if you do come around. *wink*

Otherwise, it sounds like a great club to work within… except for the stage. I like places where you can interact with the patrons from the stage.

I like the personal type clubs Glitter is this way also and it really does make a difference. You have to feel comfortable in the workplace or else it feels like a job and not a place to conduct business
