Strategy 1:
Grin and bear it. Some entertainers are not in a position to travel extensively. They may have a day job or children whose routine cannot be disturbed. The aforementioned cash cushion comes in handy. Work Harder: you may have to work 4 or 5 shifts to make what you used to make in 3 shifts during the busy season. Just don’t get down after a bad night, get back on that horse!!!! Strategy 2:
If you have the opportunity to travel…why not? Strip and Grow Rich has teamed up with Traveling Entertainers, a booking agency that (once accepted) will negotiate a weekly base pay and travel accommodations. This is a little bit different than being an ordinary house dancer in a major metropolitan area. Unlike Vegas and Phoenix where you only have to show up if you want to…once you sign the contract you are expected to work every night of the booking.
After speaking with Nikita Kash, the owner of Traveling Entertainers for over 2 hours yesterday I decided that Strategy 2 was going to be my route this summer. Traveling entertainers is just one division of the Continental Theatrical Agency, which has been a booking agency for feature entertainers for over 25 years. I fully support her agency and will be featuring Strip and Grow Rich materials at the Continental Booth at the Gentlemen’s Club Expo in Las Vegas in August.
And so my travels begin today….off to Philadelphia!
I checked out the club you decided to work at via online. Looks like a really nice choice. I do have to wonder how the other cities operate. This would be a great way to network all over the U.S. I would think also, you know to get your name out to customers everywhere who could in the future decide to come see you in your hometown.
