VegasMoney Day 2

Since my am and pm are reversed Vegas Style… the meat of my post won’t appear til the morning of the next day.

11am: wake up.  Use the coffee maker in the room to heat water to make oatmeal.  Add chocolate protein powder to concoct my favorite breakfast.  Yesterday my meals also consisted soley of protein bars and shakes.  Maybe I should add “Lose that excess 5lbs of winter weight” to my list of things to do in Vegas this week.  I don’t really like dining alone, so I have a week’s supply of Chocolate Mint Muscle Milk Light shakes, oatmeal, various bars, and of course peanut butter!

1pm: Stock market closes.  I pretty much had an account full of cash from all the positions I was stopped out of yesterday during the short squeeze.  Why go downstairs and gamble?  I’ll just sit on my laptop and trade options.

Heading to the gym.

4pm Did an hour of cardio.  I think Mr Vigglioti likes when I’m out of town because he can eat McDonalds and Pizza every night for dinner with a lack of vegetables.  I’m personally tempted by the early bird $6.95 Prime Rib Dinner Special….but in the back of my head there’s a little voice telling me that it $6.95 prime rib probably tastes like….$6.95 prime rib.

9pm: 20 customers, 40 girls.  I hate when the ratio is not in my favor.  I pace the perimeter.  Get a few dances here and there.  Nothing to write home about for 3 hours.  I need to stop looking at the clock.  It is so engrained in me to be at work at 8pm…which is around midnight VegasTime….Ian Dunross stops in and gets my night started on a good note.

12am My first VIP.  I didn’t even have to ask.  Maury waved me over and said, “I want you to dance for me over there” motioned at the 3 for $100 section.  He had a wad of messy folded cash.  It wasn’t folded in one big fold, rather each bill was folded in half individually and then stuffed in his pocket.  He charged the drinks.  After three dances he had to unfold each bill one by one.  He had exactly 101 dollars.

1am: The Upstairs VIP room is now open.  Not the Skybar room that I utilized during Con-Ag but the Venus Room.  My goal was to get in there.  I found Robert from San Francisco.  He had $100 and charged the drinks.  The Venus Room is swanky.  It has white columns and a sparkling  “stars” on the ceiling.  There is a stage in there, but no one was dancing on it.  I wonder if that stage is part of the rotation on the weekends…..

2am: I meet Ari from India.  He is a well dressed older businessman in town for the Wireless convention.  He wanted to check out the Venus Room too!  Nice Rolex.

4am: The Canadian Hockey Team is in town for a tournament.  Ken, the team manager pays me to take Kyle to goalie to the Venus Room.  Kyle works waaaay up in Northern British Columbia as the site manager for an oil rig.  He’s wearing flip flops, a Tshirt and shorts.  It’s 50 degrees outside.  We have a lot in common, we both have degrees in education and don’t use them.  I find it interesting how much emphasis is put on choosing a major and “the right” college for your studies…yet most people move on to different fields after they get that piece of paper.

5am  I call it a night.  I have to check out of the 4Queens by noon.  The Valet Attendant is sleeping (again)  This is the second night in a row that I had to wait FOREVER for my car to be valeted.  I don’t think I’ll go back to the 4Queens.  The one factor I look for is a casino with valet so when I come home at 5am with copious amounts of cash in twenties and hundreds I don’t have to walk through a parking lot or garage to my room.
