Dancing in AZ

I had a really AWESOME night last night. I hung out with Mike Brady the architect for a few hours.  After Mike Brady left, I went onstage and received a generous stage tip from Igor.  He has been in town all week watching the Chicago Cubs.  We met briefly on Tuesday night.  He had told me he might stop back in…

“Would you like your dance here, or would you prefer to go upstairs where we sat on Tuesday night?”  I asked Igor.

“Eh, it’s up to you.  Whatever you want.”  Igor responded.

So, I took Igor’s hand and walked him upstairs to VIP.  I never mentioned price because I had already established my VIP dance rate with Igor on Tuesday night.  It was around 1:55, so I danced the last 11 songs in a row for him.  I threw the last one in for free.  Igor was very pleasant and well behaved, and already felt like he was getting a GREAT deal because VIP dances are 3 for $100 in Chicago.  Lights come on at 2:15.  I never mentioned a total cost amount, Igor just hands me two Franklins and a Grant.  In the end pays to NOT be greedy.

It really IS that easy once you understand the psychology of male spending habits.  When men are on vacation, the sky is the limit when they find the pretty girl of their choice.  As they walk through those dark wood doors, they know they are going to spend every dollar that is in their wallet.  Sure, they may whine about how expensive it was the next day or when the credit card bill arrives….

But if a man walks out of a strip club with money in his wallet…he will NEVER go back there again because “That place sucked!  There were no pretty girls!”

It is more of an art, than a science, and every situation is going to be different.  As a general rule, once you gain rapport with him and establish your rates, don’t talk about money.  I usually say, “That was two dances.”  or “We’ve been here for two hours.”  If he’s been there before, he knows how to play the game…just smile and entertain him….that’s what he’s paying you for.
