Gives a whole new meaning to….

I love the last hour of the night at CCP.  If a dancer is going to leave early, she has to be dressed and walked out by 1:15am.  I’d say 40% of the girls on night shift leave so they can “go to a bar” and/or “hang out with friends” on Friday and Saturday nights.  This reduces the supply of dancers to a crowd of guys who after saying “no” all night long are finally primed for purchase.  Hence, these two combined factors (decreased supply and increased demand) allow for better price negotiation.

Last call and last girl onstage is at 2am.  From 2-2:15 the DJ somehow squeezes 6-8 “last songs” of the night.  When the circumstances are right, I can make an easy $100-200 in those final 15 minutes.  I don’t always stay until last call on weeknights when I have to wake up early, but I ALWAYS stay on Friday and Saturday nights.

Last night I met Dr. Burke in the last hour of the night.  He was the spitting image of Dr. Preston Burke from Grey’s Anatomy.  He was sitting alone at The Point (CCP house girls….do you know what table that it?  If not ask Matt Damon tonight)  We chatted for a few songs.  It is quite a small world, he went to Med School at Drexel in Philly, and did his surgical residency at Crozer-Chester Hospital where I was born.

“So what is your specialty?”  I asked Dr. Burke.  I half expected him to say cardio-thorasic like his alter-ego on the show.

“Colo-rectal.”  He replied.

“Oh.”  What do you say to that?

“Yeah.  The conversation usually ends there.”  He joked.

“Well… that certainly gives a whole new meaning to Ass-Man.” Good Comeback?
