My Stripperella Evening

April 22

I just had the kind of night every good stripper dreams about.

I had just finished one hour in VIP, and my spirits were high.  I was already ahead of my monetary goal for the evening. I headed back to the packed main floor and started selling table dances without missing a beat of the first available song.

Cosmo, the absolute hardest working floormen I have EVER seen, discretely taps me on myshoulder and whispers “I have a VIP guy asking for you.  He was here last night but you were already signed out with another client.”

I crinkle my nose. Unlike many of my co-workers I hate being set up with an unknown client regardless of how “VIP” he is.  “Who is it?”  I ask Cosmo.

“I don’t know, but he asked specifically for Avalon.  He said to pick out a girl that you like for his friend.  They are ready to go upstairs now.” he replied.

Now, I’ve always found that if it sounds too good to be true, then it IS.  How often does this situation occur in Stripperland?  Not very often.  And when it does, it’s usually with some pompous jerk who thinks I’ll go home with him for a few thousand dollars.

So I grab my girl Logan, and we go over to meet our Prince Charmings.  Cosmo escorts us over to the table.  There was an mid-fiftyish gentleman with rosy cheeks, and a very handsome mid-thirtyish guy talking to our VIP hostess, Stacy.  I immediately went over to the older gentleman and struck up a conversation as we were walking up the stairs.

When we got upstairs, the older gentleman Bill said, “Kelly’s been talking about you for a long time?”

“Huh?” was my puzzled response.  I turned to look at the OTHER guy….the good looking younger guy…

“You don’t remember me do you?” he said in a sexy Texan drawl.

A smile crept across my face as it dawned on me who this guy was.  “Yes, I do as a matter of fact.  I met you TWO YEARS ago in the spring of 2005.”

“Yep”  he smiled, realizing that I wasn’t a dumb blonde.

“We sat over at that booth,” I pointed to the other side of the room,”for three hours….and….this is going to sound really dumb if I’m wrong…..but weren’t you here for a cotton grower’s convention?

“Wow!  You really do have a good memory!”  he responded.

Yep.  Photographic memory to be exact.

Kelly signed me out for another 3 hours.  He was a perfect gentlemen.  We talked about everything under the sun: from growing cotton to the real esate industry in Lubbock, Tx.

And, he’s coming back in September for golf.

Yay!
